Know your people
Updated: Sep 3, 2019
As I get older, I really appreciate "my people". It's interesting when things happen in your life good or bad who shows up isn't it? There is such a lesson in that, in "The Who" actually shows up. I've been guilty of not showing up for people over the years. But the older you get and the more good, bad and ugly that life throws you, the more you learn about the importance of showing up for people. 2019 hasn't been the best year for me for my health, my work, my finances and even for my dog. And along the way, I keep getting these little reminders of people that care about me through texts, phone calls, emails, things left on my door step. And while each moment in time might have kept me down, I really value the people that were there to pick me up. I am so thankful for that! I am so thankful that I can see that and feel it and be humbled by it over and over. I only hope that I can pay it forward and that I can teach my daughter the importance of doing that for people in her life and the value that has on being a good human being.
